Public telephones

An interesting fact about Helsinki is that since 2007 there are no longer any public telephones in the city. Most everyone you see on the streets, from 8 year olds to grannies carry a cell phone.

There's a move here, too, to eliminate pay phones. Apparently pay phones are only used for crime. Who knew?
